The pool is ready, the boards are primed, and Team Toba is set to make a splash! Dive Manitoba proudly announces the seven athletes and two dedicated coaches representing the province in diving at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
This year's lineup showcases a dynamic blend of fresh talent and competitive spirit on the national stage. The team consists of athletes selected through rigorous provincial standards, including performance at national list events. For many of these young competitors, the Canada Games mark their first major multi-sport competition experience.
Meet the Team
Under the expert guidance of Head Coach Ilya Yunanov and Coach Svitlana Serbina, the athletes have been training intensively. The 2025 team features:
Athletes: Gabriel Brombach, Evey Hedges, Nic Landry, Mila Mortele, Tomas Moreno, Vlad Tiaglei, and Corydon Wolfe.
Preparation for this elite event extends beyond perfecting a tuck or a pike. The team has engaged with a comprehensive lineup of sport specialists—from nutritionists to mental performance coaches—to ensure peak physical and mental resilience when the competition intensifies.
